Hurdling masterclass with the Master.

Scottish Athletics, in partnership with Hurdling Scotland, are delighted to be welcoming to Scotland, Malcolm Arnold, UKA’s National Event Coach for Hurdles and UKA Apprentice Coach James Hillier, to deliver workshops, discussions and a practical hurdle session. Malcolm and James will be presenting a seminar focusing solely on the Intermediate Hurdles (300/400mH); Malcolm is coach to the likes of Dai Greene (2011 World 400m Hurdles Champion) and Scotland’s Commonwealth Silver Medallist Eilidh Child. He is also a recent recipient of UK Sports Lifetime Achievement Award and Coaching Chain Award (with amongst others Benke Blomkvist, for work with Dai Greene).It is still possible to register for this event; coaches and athletes should contact Brian Winning ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Chris Baille alongside 2011 Scottish 400m Hurdles Champion David Martin have resumed taking Hurdle sessions at Scotstoun Stadium on Wednesday afternoons at 7pm and have now started to take sessions on Sunday Mornings at 11am. Sessions are open to all.
