In conjunction with the Hammer/Shot Session being delivered through Alan Bertram, Robert Wilkie will be hosting a Javelin Development Session at Scotstoun Stadium on 22nd of January.

There follows some information on the session from Robert.

The workshop is open to athletes age group U11 upwards, and ideally athletes should attend with their coach to get the best from the session. All coaches welcome.

Athletes to pay user fee at Scotstoun Stadium Reception on arrival.

Proposed Timetable

11:00 - 11:15am Registration (forms will be handed out on arrival)
11:15 - 11:45am Layout of Javelin Plan and plan for this session and
subsequent sessions.
11:45 - 12:15am Athletes warm up, Group warm up.
12:15 - 13:15pm Throwing Session groups will be based on age groups.
13:15 - 14:00pm Lunch (bring your own or use stadium cafeteria)
14:00 - 15:45pm Drills Sessions groups as above.
15.45 - 16:00pm Feed back debrief on session.
