THE GLASGOW JAGUARS
A pathway team giving Scottish athletes the opportunity to compete on the national stage
The Glasgow Jaguars Track and Field Club, constituted in 2020, is the only Scottish club competing in the National Athletic League (NAL), which was formed following the disbandment of the British Athletics League and the UK Women’s Athletic League.
Glasgow Jaguars compete in three summer meets in the Premier Division of the NAL.
The 2027 fixtures TBC.
Membership is open to all Senior and U20 athletes, who currently have a Scottish First Claim club.
Please note - for all comps apart from NAL matches and English U20/23 champs you wear your Scottish club vest
and you enter as your Scottish club in all Scottish Champs, event specific and open graded events, x-country, road races etc and represent them in leagues.
The only exception is English U17, U20 or U23 Championships, where the league requires you to enter as Glasgow Jaguars. Recognition for GB international selection on the UK website may link you with Glasgow Jaguars but in any reports on the scottishathletics website you will always be listed as your Scottish club.
Joma also support the team with sponsored competition kit and leisure wear.
(Only vests, T shirts, zippers and rain jackets are being issued going forward so you wear your own black shorts and joggers).
Eligibility
The required forms must be completed to ensure you are listed as first claim to both Glasgow Jaguars and your first claim Scottish Club on ScottishAthletics and Power of Ten.
- Kit form must be completed.
Cost
There is a £20 one off registration fee.
Subs of £50 (in employement) or £25 (if you are student) will only be charged if selected and you compete in a match.

On receipt of completed forms athletes will be added to the database and will be contacted by Team Managers
around availability for selection.
Athletes are asked to make a contribution for each match and in 2026 this was £60 and payment details will be sent out with selection emails. This is to help to subsidise travel and accommodation. You will also be asked for a single room supplement if you would prefer a single room. The cost of this will depend on the accommodation cost at each match.
