THE GLASGOW JAGUARS

A pathway team giving Scottish athletes the opportunity to compete on the national stage

The Glasgow Jaguars Track and Field Club, constituted in 2020, is the only Scottish club competing in the National Athletic League (NAL), which was formed following the disbandment of the British Athletics League and the UK Women’s Athletic League.

Glasgow Jaguars compete in the Premier Division of the NAL with the following fixtures for the 2024 season:

NAL 1 Saturday 1st June - Eton
NAL 2 Sunday 7th July - Woodford
NAL 3 Saturday 3rd August - Birmingham

Membership is open to all Senior and U20 athletes, who currently have a Scottish First Claim club.

If you or your coach think this might be an appropriate pathway for you please

contact Moria (below) for further information or complete the membership form and let Moira know when you have done this.

Eligibility

- The required forms must be completed to ensure you are listed as first claim to both Glasgow Jaguars and your first claim Scottish Club on the ScottishAthletics and Power of Ten.

- Kit form must be completed.

Cost

To cover the admin costs a one off registration fee of £20 is payable.

On receipt of completed forms athletes will be added to the database and will be contacted by Team Managers re availability for selection.

Subs of £50 for waged athletes and £25 for unwaged athletes will be due, if selected, but many clubs support this pathway and pay this on the athletes' behalf.

There may be a small charge for flights and accommodation but this can be kept to a minimum as the club is sponsored by Glasgow Life.

Joma also support the team with sponsored competition kit and leisure wear.
